QLD: 12 y o to face committal hearing over mothers death

BRISBANE, Dec 15 AAP - A 12-year-old Queensland girl charged with the shooting murder of
her mother will face court for a committal hearing in March next year.

The girl, who cannot be named because she is a juvenile, will face Maroochydore Childrens
Court on March 30 after a three-day hearing was set down by the court today.

The body of a 48-year-old woman was found at her home at Mapleton on the Sunshine Coast on
October 10 with a single gunshot wound to her head.
