SURF: Occy to take on Taj Burrow

Former world surfing champion MARK OCCHILUPO will go up against West Australian TAJ
BURROW in tomorrow's Rip Curl Pro quarter finals after both progressed through their round
four heats of the World Championship Tour event at Bells Beach this afternoon.

The pair easily eliminated their international opponents with OCCY defeating American
TAYLOR KNOX and BURROW eliminating Brazil's PAULO MOURA.

Six-times world champion KELLY SLATER also progessed into the quarter finals after
beating Sydney's NATHAN HEDGE, while world No.1 ANDY IRONS edged Gold Coast surfer LUKE
EGAN.

The second WCTA event of the year is expected to be finalised tomorrow.
